The BEST Salted Caramel Sauce

Here’s the recipe, I hope you enjoy!
1 C Sugar
1/2 C Water
1 Tbsp Corn Syrup
3/4 C Heavy Cream
1 Tsp Vanilla
1 Tsp Salt
In a medium Saucepan, combine 1 C Sugar, 1/2 C Water, and 1 Tbsp Corn Syrup over medium heat. Stir until the sugar is dissolved, then don’t touch it again.
Let the mixture boil until an amber color. While the mixture is boiling, heat the 3/4 C Heavy Cream in the microwave for 1 minute.
Once the mixture is amber, remove from heat, and slowly add in the warmed Heavy Cream while stirring. Stir until smooth.
Add in 1 Tsp Vanilla and 1 Tsp Salt, mix until incorporated. Allow to cool.
Add on top of ice cream, to dip apples into, to eat plain, however you enjoy your caramel sauce, no judgment here!
