The BEST Salted Caramel Sauce

Here’s the recipe, I hope you enjoy!


1 C Sugar

1/2 C Water

1 Tbsp Corn Syrup

3/4 C Heavy Cream

1 Tsp Vanilla

1 Tsp Salt


  • In a medium Saucepan, combine 1 C Sugar, 1/2 C Water, and 1 Tbsp Corn Syrup over medium heat. Stir until the sugar is dissolved, then don’t touch it again.

  • Let the mixture boil until an amber color. While the mixture is boiling, heat the 3/4 C Heavy Cream in the microwave for 1 minute.

  • Once the mixture is amber, remove from heat, and slowly add in the warmed Heavy Cream while stirring. Stir until smooth.

  • Add in 1 Tsp Vanilla and 1 Tsp Salt, mix until incorporated. Allow to cool.

  • Add on top of ice cream, to dip apples into, to eat plain, however you enjoy your caramel sauce, no judgment here!
